Blessed Vietnamese Agarwood Mala – 108 Beads, 8 mm
This mala is made from naturally aged Vietnamese agarwood, a material long appreciated for its quiet fragrance, natural depth, and distinctive grain.
Each bead is approximately 8mm and individually hand-finished in the traditional 108-bead mala form.
Every bead is engraved with the six-syllable mantra:
Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ
Sanskrit:
ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ
Tibetan:
ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།
The mantra is traditionally associated with Avalokiteśvara, known in Tibetan as Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
The engraving gives each bead a quiet ritual character while preserving the natural grain and texture of the agarwood.
With time and regular use, the wood may gradually become smoother and deeper in tone, while the natural fragrance becomes warmer and more subtle.
