MAKE AN OFFERING FOR THE LONG LIFE PUJA OF HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA

AN AUSPICIOUS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AN OFFERING

The Long Life Puja for His Holiness the Dalai Lama is being organized following the request of Sonam Tashi Rinpoche, representing the Krodakali practitioners of Dudjom Lingpa.

The request was compassionately accepted by His Holiness, and the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has officially confirmed that the Puja will take place on Wednesday, 24 February 2027, in Dharamsala, India.

This is an exceptionally rare and auspicious opportunity to express our gratitude for the boundless activities of His Holiness and to pray sincerely for His long life, good health and the fulfilment of His enlightened aspirations for the benefit of the Dharma and all sentient beings.

HOW THE OFFERINGS WILL BE USED

Many preparations are required for the Long Life Puja to be conducted in a dignified and auspicious manner. The offerings received through this page will help support:

• The printing of Long Life prayers and ritual texts;
• The preparation of the Mandala offering of enlightened Body, Speech and Mind;
• Ritual arrangements, organization and logistical support for the Puja.

Each offering becomes part of a collective accumulation of merit created through faith, gratitude and pure aspiration.

OFFER ACCORDING TO YOUR ASPIRATION

There is no minimum offering amount. You are welcome to offer according to your circumstances, capacity and personal aspiration.

Those who are unable to attend the Dharamsala pilgrimage may still establish an auspicious connection with the Long Life Puja through prayer, dedication and an offering.

Participation in the pilgrimage is not required to make an offering.

If you are not presently able to make a financial offering, you may still take part by praying for the long life of His Holiness, dedicating merit or sharing this opportunity with others.

TRANSPARENCY

All offerings for the Long Life Puja will be managed separately from the expenses of the Dharamsala pilgrimage.

The offerings will be recorded, reconciled and transferred to the Organizing Team represented by Sonam Tashi Rinpoche. A summary will be provided after the offering process has been completed.

IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL CONDITION

In accordance with the conditions stated in the official letter, those making an offering should have sincere faith and pure samaya.

They should not disparage His Holiness the Dalai Lama, follow Dolgyal (Dorje Shugden), or have broken their essential commitments.
